Weekend Reflections- September 1, 2024

Posted on September 3, 2024February 14, 2025 by gabby

Hey y’all, welcome to this week’s edition of Weekend Reflections, where I talk about what went down at work, the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

This week work-wise was amazing! My patients were great, but my coworkers drove me up the wall, reminding me—yet again—why boundaries at work are absolutely crucial.

Highs: I saw all my patients, finished my work on time, and walked out the door right on schedule! The cherry on top? I only worked two days because of Labor Day! A five-day break was exactly what I needed to hit reset and recharge.

Lows: My coworkers had some drama amongst themselves, but I kept my head down and focused on my tasks. Just because you hear the fight doesn’t mean you need to jump in. Let them sort it out themselves—no need to get dragged into the mess. Plus, who even has time for that? Like, ma’am, do you not have work to finish?

Sometimes, the best way to protect your peace is to stick to your lane and let others handle their own chaos.
