Hey y’all, welcome to this week’s edition of Weekend Reflections, where I talk about what went down at work, the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
This weekend was a good one overall, with some interesting cases that, thankfully, were all manageable.
Highs:
Our hospital is making a big change this October—we’re switching to Epic. As part of the transition, we all have to go through training before the launch. My first session was this Saturday. From 7 AM to noon, I was at the computer lab, diving into the training. Having used Epic at my previous job, most of it felt like a refresher. I’m really excited about this change because I believe Epic will make our jobs so much easier. The system is highly customizable, which will allow us to streamline a lot of our work. I’m looking forward to seeing how these changes play out!
Lows:
Ironically, I don’t have any lows to report. It was a good weekend work-wise, and I have no complaints. Fingers crossed that it stays this way every week!
