Weekend Reflections August 12, 2025

Posted on August 13, 2025August 23, 2025 by gabby

Welcome back to my weekend reflections, where I dive into the highs and lows of my workweek!

High: This weekend was short- I was off on Saturday, attending a funeral. Sunday and Monday were chaotic because half my brain was occupied with what had happened- losing anyone is not easy, and supporting your family and friends through it is even less. However, I have coworkers who were understanding and allowed me to work at my own pace- and not my usual one.

Low: It’s eval season!! I have yet to do mine; I probably will sit down and do it this week, as I have to because it’s due on Friday. I can not believe I waited this long to submit it. I have everything I want to write down. I keep a physical journal, which I update about once a week with the cases I’ve worked on and things I want to remember for evaluation time. So really, it’s not hard; I just need to dedicate the time to write it up.
