Hey y’all, welcome to this week’s edition of Weekend Reflections, where I talk about what went down at work, the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
Highs: My coworkers had planned for a pumpkin painting this weekend, and it was fun to be able to spend some time and just get to relax and talk without the stress of work.
Low: One of my colleagues called out unexpectedly, and that threw us all for a loop. We had to scramble to adjust our workloads and make sure her patients were seen. I understand that things happen and people need to call out, but when it’s unplanned, it creates this domino effect for the rest of us. It’s especially tough when we don’t know where the follow-ups left off and need to add that on top of our patients to be seen. Oh well, we made it work.
