Weekend Reflection- Novemeber 5, 2024

Posted on November 5, 2024February 14, 2025 by gabby

Hey y’all, welcome to this week’s edition of Weekend Reflections, where I talk about what went down at work, the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

Highs: The patients were kind, and I had a manageable workload.

Lows: Last week, I mentioned that my coworker took some time off, and this week she quit. Honestly, I’m not surprised—she’d talked about applying for new jobs and finding a better work-life balance—but I’m really going to miss her. In a job where I’m usually one of the youngest in the department, I often end up getting “mothered” by others. But she was different. She treated me like an equal, made sure I never felt disrespected and validated my concerns whenever I had them. She was one of my favorite colleagues, and her absence will definitely be felt.
