Weekend Reflection- Novemeber 27, 2024

Posted on November 27, 2024February 14, 2025 by gabby

Welcome back to my weekend reflections, where I dive into the highs and lows of my workweek!

Highs: I’ve been in a good groove at work lately, and I hit my one-year mark at my current job, which still feels a little surreal because it feels like I just started not too long ago. I’m really happy with my role and the work-life balance I’ve been able to establish. As always, some weeks are tougher than others (you can obviously see that in my weekly reflections, lol), but overall, I had a realization over the weekend that this is the best I’ve felt about work in a long time. It’s taken years, a lot of mistakes, learning curves, and growth to get to this point, and I am so grateful for it all.

Low: This isn’t exactly a low, but more of a nervous moment—one of my coworkers is pregnant and was having contractions all weekend. I was anxious the entire time, thinking she might go into labor any minute. She didn’t, but either way, I’m excited to see her little bundle of joy soon!
