Welcome back to my weekend reflections, where I dive into the highs and lows of my workweek!
I only went to work one day out of three, since I took Saturday and Sunday off for my cousin’s wedding. So I knew it wouldn’t be a bad day, since Mondays in general I am assigned to help versus actually handling the issues myself, as I am a weekend social worker, and the weekday staff is back to handle their floors.
High: It was a easy day, didn’t have any intense cases/consults that I needed to see. Our benefits reset in July, so I spent some time reviewing our benefits, the changes and what I actually used this past year vs. what money was left on the table.
Low: I was extremely tired from the past week, my cousin got married, and I was still feeling the lack of sleep and the poor decision to wear heels all week, and dancing in them to the point where I have blisters now. Oh well.
