7 things I learned about life living in Temple, Texas

Posted on June 20, 2024February 14, 2025 by gabby
  1. Get really comfortable running into coworkers and colleagues in restaurants, shops, around your apartment complex, etc.
  2. Listen to your instincts over intellect.
  3. When you’re hungry- eat. Don’t wait until 2 or 3 after seeing the patient to take care of yourself. You’re not you when you’re hungry.
  4. Plant the seed of confidence- you can do anything you set your mind to.
  5. Don’t follow the cog. Do the hard thing, even if it goes against the grain.
  6. You know more than you give yourself credit for.
  7. A toxic work environment will change you, not the other way around.
